The beginning of growth in a planted seed is the watering process after which the seed id broken apart to produce. How we feed and water our faith has much to do with how fast it grows. We must allow ourselves to be opened (up) to the grace of God. Romans 10:17 says: So, then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Real trust requires us to confront our vulnerabilities. In today’s microwaveable society, it can be tempting to rely solely on our own strength and understanding to get things done quickly. Yet, true faith in God encourages us to let go of our need for control and open ourselves to new possibilities as we wait for God to move. This is only possible through the reading and hearing of God’s word.

When we admit our vulnerabilities and surrender them to God, we set ourselves up for profound growth. Tapping into our seemingly insignificant mustard seed faith plays a big part in surrendering to God. When we surrender to Him in small faith and can move mountains, it leads us to bigger faith where nothing is impossible for us.

When we commit to trusting God fully, we see the fruits of that faith manifest in various facets of our lives. Trust can lead to an extraordinary sense of peace, even in chaos. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6 that God’s peace surpasses all understanding. It enhances growth opportunities instead of setbacks. This journey requires patience and perseverance. However, with each step taken in faith, we nurture an unshakeable enthusiasm for life that empowers us to rise above difficulties.
